Raúl Parada Medina is a Recognized researcher with two post-doctoral years experience in the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Padova and technological director of the social project Parkinsons App (visit parkinsons.cat). He got his PhD in the doctoral programme Information and Communication Technologies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Department of Information and Communication Technologies) in Barcelona in 2016. His research was about Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, Machine Learning techniques and Antenna Design. He graduated in the MSc in Telecommunications at Technical University of Denmark in 2012 and his bachelor degree at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (EETAC) in 2008 doing his diploma thesis at the Vienna University of Technology. His industrial experience within the telecommunications covers the network simulations, network configuration, deployment of Wimax’s networks, configuration of professional WiFi, COAX and satellite equipment, and experience on mobile communication.
